Case Handling Vertical Material Lifts
Reliable Case Handling: Model "RP" Pneumatic Vertical Conveyor
Lift as much as 500 pounds of weight between levels with our Model “RP” Pneumatic Vertical Conveyor. This is a pneumatically-activated VRC that uses a pneumatic cable cylinder to raise and lower the powered vertical conveyor lift between levels. In fact, some of our high-end units can travel as fast as 150 feet per minute (FPM). Top and bottom shock absorbers make sure your products are transferred safely from level to level.
Due to the cantilever carriage design, product movement configurations can be Z Flow, C Flow, Right Angle Flow, or a combination. Powered chain-driven-live-roller conveyors (CDLR) are available for heavier loads. Our popular multi-poly belt conveyors are ideal for lighter loads. A variety of conveyor speeds are available to match your infeed and outfeed conveyors, such as 30, 45, 60, and 90 FPM.
The units we ship are all completely prewired with all devices tied into a terminal strip in a junction box. Full PLC controls are available upon request. In addition, all our vertical conveyors meet or exceed current ANSI B20.1 safety guidelines. Features include:
- Product Sensing Photoeyes
- Safety Tunnels at Entry and Exit Points
- Fully Guarded/Protected Frames
- Safety Placards
- Cam Activated Free-Fall Braking System
Model "RC" Electric Vertical Conveyor
The Model "RC" Electric Vertical Conveyor has all the excellent features of the “RP” model. For instance, it is also ideal for moving loads as heavy as 500 pounds vertically between two or more levels. It utilizes a top-mounted motor/brake/reducer unit to raise and lower the conveyor bed. Speeds range from 30 to 300 or more FPM. Positioning and over-travel limit switches assure proper conveyor positioning all the time.

Vertical Case Accumulation and Indexing Systems
At Verticon, we also manufacture vertical case accumulation and indexing systems. When floor space is limited, these systems are ideal if you need vertical case accumulation. With slight modifications, we also add custom top-mounted case extractors, turning this into a vertical indexing conveyor for high-density case movement between floors or ceiling-hung conveyors.
